Global Village Day is a fun and unique way to celebrate the cultures of the world. This year, Armonk, New York celebrated by dedicating a whole day to educate and entertain people who visited Byram Hills High School.
Various members of the community shared different foods, crafts, posters, and even performances from diverse ethnicities. Representatives from non-profit organizations spoke to people about the many challenges faced by different societies and local communities all around the world.
This year, Swazi Legacy spent the day working with the One World Club from Byram Hills High School and talking to people who visited Global Village Day. People who didn’t even know where Swaziland is were informed of its location, its poverty, and the struggles its people face today.
